Costs for weddings are split into two categories - the statutory costs set by the Church of England and then optional costs for services that you may or may not want to have at your wedding. We have tried to make this clear below but please do ask if you are unsure.

Church Wedding Costs 2023
Publication of banns of marriage £36.00
Certificate of Banns £18.00
(NB. If you are resident in a different parish to the one that you are getting married in then you will also need to pay this in your home parish church)
Marriage Service in church £531.00
Verger £30.00
Optional Extras:
Organist £90
Video recording of the service £50
Heating £50
Use of Flower Arch (Stetchworth only) £30
Bell Ringers (Brinkley only) £120 for 6 ringers; payable directly to the bell ringers
